ATCHISON, Kan. — Families are invited to come for breakfast Saturday at the Amelia Earhart Airport and enjoy seeing antique cars and planes as well as modern and experimental aircraft.
The Experimental Aircraft Association, Chapter No. 967, is hosting the event. Homebuilt aircraft, biplanes and ultra lights will be flying in for a visit.
The weather forecast looks good, so this should be a great day for some family fun, said chapter member Alan Beers.Kids will be able to participate in a ping pong ball drop for free prizes.
The event starts at 8 a.m. Saturday with a sausage and bacon breakfast for a $5 donation.
